Police: Body found on Lake Johnson trail

RALEIGH, N.C. -

A body was found on a Lake Johnson trail in west Raleigh Saturday morning.

Police and EMS located the body along the vicinity of the greenway. 

Lake Johnson is located at 4601 Avent Ferry Road, close to the campus of N.C. State University. 

Raleigh police spokesperson Jim Sughrue said the person's death was ruled a suicide.
